What happens is that when you pout a site on the web, a bot or a spider sent out from the search engines. Then this bot will crawl the site and then they will transmit the data back to the search engine and based on the content and the subject of the site , the search engine will give you a high rank the first time out.

Now you have a few weeks, in order to get your website in better condition so the search engines will change your ranking. You can either try to SEO yourself or you can hire someone to help you with that. Your best bet is to try to do it your self first maybe you can improve on the content or maybe add a few more graphics. When the bots come around again they may like the changes that you made or they may not. If you have not improved at all in the rankings then you may want to consider having an outside SEO come in a take a look.

They may see something that you don’t see. It could be something very simple or it may take some work. The SEO will analyze what you need to improve on your site and then they will suggest to you how to fix it. You may end up with an extra expense but it will be worth it when you get more traffic because of the SEO which will increase your search engine ranking as well. It cannot hurt to have someone check out your site if you are serious about improving your traffic and ranking.
